China and India

  • The only countries in history more than a Billion people is China with 1.35 Billion and India With 1.21 billion.
  • 40% of the world population is in India and China.
  • China or India is bigger than those of Africa, Europe or the entire hemisphere.
  • Life Expectancy is 74 in China and for India its 64.
  • China is going to have more and more people become urban.
  • International migration is not a big part of Chinas and India's population
  • In China they reject North Korea and India they reject Bangladesh.
  • The two Countries are concerned about the Fertility rate. 
  • China Fertility rate is 1.8 and India's is 2.8

Persenting

We judged people today on there projects and they were very well. Eric, Vinny, And Me did very good in presenting are project. It seems that we said it as perfection. Finally, in class we learned more about coffee.

11/11/2010 group project coffee

Today, We went over are test that I got a 80% on! Then in class we picked partners for the coffee project. Also, my partners are Vinny and Eric. Are topic that we got assigned is-

  • Research the physical and technological processes of growing, harvesting, “washing,” roasting, grinding and brewing coffee. Be able to describe the key steps involved. How does processing affect the flavor of coffee? What accounts for the flavor in different varieties of beans? How can the flavor be enhanced or altered?

Notes on Coffee Part 1

  • Coffee is the most heavily traded crop in the world.
  • Hawaii is the only country in the united states that produces coffee.
  • Dun-kin donuts, Starbucks, McDonalds, Wawa, Royal farms, Grocery store, etc...... Huge industry.
  • The producer dont recieve much money and struggle to support their family so therefore quality goes down
