Project number 2
Millions of people are leaving the countryside to enter the city. The problem with this is that when people move there they are on the street homeless. The other possible way to find shelter is when they crowd people into buildings with very cheap rent. This becomes a problem because the safety of these people is very low. So therefore, police have been craking down on the safety of housing.

12/6 class assignment
Things I leaned about India is there poverty in their country. I learned that most of their poverty is spread around the whole country. Also, most of them don't have clean water or live even close th the American standards. I believe most of the India live like this is because of there massive amount of population. There huge population causes slums. The slums that I've seen In Mumbai are basically scraps that people Savage for to make a home and to find shelter. This is sad because there can be a lot of refugees in the slums.
Secondly, I believe Slum dog Millionaire really shows a correct life of India's people. The reason I say this is because there child beggars on the streets of India who search for money and bring it back to the Gangster/boss. Also, the human trafficking in India is really bad because they sell kids that are virgins for a lot of money. They even make them prostitutes and sleep with tons a men a day. Its very terrible what people do and this movie really explains it.

Weekend homework 12/5/2010
India
India is currently facing problems with forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation most of this is trafficked in India and really not transported out. What causes people to be forced into hard labor is because of their dept bondage. Men are usually trafficked in brick Kilns, rice mills, agriculture, and embroidery factories. Women are trafficked within the country for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced marriage. Girls are subjected to forced labor as factory workers, domestic servants, beggars, and agriculture workers. Also, Estimates of the number of child labourers vary widely. According to a 1991 census, 11.2 million children aged between 5 and 14 were working in India.100 million children were out of school and working—half of India’s 200 million children. This is very said because The kids cant get a education and already at a young age have a hard life and cant socialize and be kids!!!

Did you know?
Facebook has so many people signed up that is could be the third largest country. Also, 50million people signed up for facebook within the two years it came out. Secondly, 395 babies are born in India every 4mins. That makes me worry cause, what if they take our jobs that we need in the United States Because there education competes with us. Finally, in India people dont ask for a lot of money like America does so Companies go to India.
